FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ten Commandments Day Marathon Shelter House in Old English, South of State Rd. 64 on Hwy. 37 - May 5th & 6th Promotional Text The world-wide first annual Ten Commandments weekend is the first weekend in May and you are invited to participate in local events! People just like you are joining the effort to remind everyone of the importance of following God's Ten Commandments. There will be special programs the first weekend in May right here in our area. You will hear dynamic sermons and music as internationally-known speakers and singers will appear downlinked via special satellite television from Three Angels Broadcasting Network. You will hear in-depth presentations on all Ten Commandments… and why they are just as important to us today as they were when God wrote them on tablets of stone. The first annual Ten Commandments weekend is the first weekend in May and you are invited to attend. Local Events Christians from all denominations will be gathering together in Old English, Indiana Friday, May 5th at 7PM till 6PM Saturday, May 6th to rally support for the Ten Commandments in our country. This rally is in response to the Ten Commandments Commission's (tencommandmentsday.com) call to host community events in support of the Ten Commandments. This event is also held in conjunction with Three Angels Broadcasting Network's (3abn.org) 17-hour live satellite television event. The first 200 attendees will receive a free book entitled, "Ten Commandments Twice Removed." CPR3 Disaster Relief (cpr3.org) and their trucks will be there showing their support as well. Starting May 5th at 7PM Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) will downlink via satellite from Washington, DC where they will network with speakers from around the world. Danny Shelton, Shelley Quinn, Dr. Robert Gentry, Pastors Doug Batchelor, C.A. Murray, Wintley Phipps and more... will be speaking on each of the Ten Commandments. Messages and music will continue throughout the night until May 6th at 6PM. Snacks & drinks welcome (no alcohol). Bring tents and camp out. Printer Friendly Version |
